Our booking system for Skellig Michael Tours 2024 is now Open.
The Skellig Island Eco tour around Skellig Michael and small Skellig departs at 10:00am, 12:30pm, 3:0opm, 5:15pm depending on the sea conditions.
The boat tour circles both Skellig Islands and you get right up close to Skellig Michael and the small Skelligs to see both the wildlife and the historical sites. Take a photo in front of Skellig Michael from the boat.
Note: This tour can get very busy especially in the peak season so to avoid disappointment it is advisable to book well in advance.
Skellig Michael landing tours will begin on May 14th 2024 and run until 1st October 2024. Bookings are now open.

Q. How do I book a Skellig Michael Boat tour?

Q. Where do Skellig Michael Tours depart from ?
A. All our boats depart from the marina in Portmagee, Co. Kerry. See our Contact us page for details of how to find us.
Q.How do I know which Skellig Boat to go on?
A. Call to our Skellig Michael booking office in the car park by the marina and a member of staff will guide you to the Skellig Star. Our booking office is well sign posted. Turn right just after the shop/Post Office when you enter Portmagee village. We ask that you please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of departure time.
Q. What do I need to wear for a Skellig boat tour around Skellig Michael?
A. Wear warm comfortable clothing and shoes. We have shelter for all passengers on board and we also have rain gear available if passengers want to remain seated outside.
Q. Does the boat have toilet facilities
A. Yes.

A. Skellig Michael tours offer two types of tour:
1. The Skellig Michael Landing tour – you land at skellig Michael pier and you have 2.5 hours to explore the island
2. The Skellig Michael boat tours around both Skellig Islands.The boat tour circles both Skellig Islands and you get right up close to Skellig Michael and the small Skelligs to see both the wildlife and the historical sights. Plenty of time is given to take photos etc… This tour does not land at Skellig Michael

Skellig Michael Landing Tours
Our Skellig Michael Landing tour 2024 will begin on May 14th until 1st October.
If spaces are not available on our Skellig Michael landing tour then why not take our Skellig Michael boat trips around both Skellig Islands. You still get to see everything the Skellig islands has to offer. You see the monastery , wild life, light house, steps where the monks carved into in the 5th century on Skellig Michael from the boat.
Our Skellig Michael Tours gives a unique and up close view of the Skellig Islands, many people who take a Skellig Michael landing tour also go on one of our Skellig Michael boat trips around both Skellig Islands giving them two very different experinces of the Skellig Islands. The eco tour around both Skellig islands is suitable for all ages and abilities. It is affordable for families and availability is much greater as we have more Skellig boats operating these tours. The Skellig Michael boat tours around Skellig islands depart from Portmagee Marina every 2.5 hours from 9:30/10am.
Our Skellig Michael Landing Tour only departs once a day between and 8:00 am – 10:30am.
Cancellation Policy
As all our tours are weather dependant we reserve the right to cancel the tour due to adverse sea and weather conditions.
We also reserve the right to cancel any tour bookings resulting from multiple bookings, bookings made with the intention of being resold individually or part of an organised activity or tour package, any booking activity that we feel is not right or inapproriate.
Our Skellig Michael Landing tours are non-refundable however should we need to cancel the tour due to weather or any other reason we will give you a full refund of any monies paid.
If you cancel your reservation more than 7 dyas in advance of the departure time, no cancellation fee applies and you will receive a full refund.
Cancelling your reservation less than 7 days in advance of the departure time , a cancellation fee of 50% of the amount paid will apply.
If you cancel your reservation less than 72 hours in advance of the departure time, no refund will be given.
